Edyta Sliwinska is a professional ballroom dancer from Poland. She is most notable for her appearances on the reality television series “Dancing with the Stars”. She was the only professional dancer who appeared on all the seven seasons of the American TV series.

In her first season on the show, Edyta Sliwinska was partnered with professional boxer Evander Holyfield and took the fifth place on the competition. George Hamilton was her partner in her second season appearance in the reality TV show. Again, they last in the mid-part of the season, taking the fifth place on the competition. Her partner in the third season on “Dancing with the Stars” was the acclaimed actor Joey Lawrence. Things are getting better for Edyta as she and Joey Lawrence took the third place on the competition and appeared on the first performance tour of the show from 2006 of December to February of the next year.

The fourth season has been the hardest for Edyta Sliwinska when she was partnered with Vincent Pastore of “The Sopranos” who dropped out of the competition as he was unable to keep up with the intense preparation for the show. John Ratzenberger was announced as Pastore’s replacement for Sliwinska on March 2. They still managed to bag the 6th place in the competition even if they had the least amount of time to prepare.

Season 5 was another third place in the competition, when she was partnered with Cameron Mathison, a soap opera actor. Edyta Sliwinska got her best finish when she was with National Football League player Jason Taylor in her 6th season appearance in the show finishing in second place. The dances that took her and Jason Taylor to the second place are Foxtrot, Mambo, Jive, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Quickstep and Paso Doble, Tango and Samba, and Freestyle and Quickstep. They both got perfect score from all three judges on their final Quickstep performance.

Her other television appearances include CSI: NY and Jared’s jewelry advertisement. Prior to her television appearances, she has already been successful in her dancing career receiving multiple awards. Edyta Sliwinska won the title of the Emeralds Ball Latin Amateur Champion, 1st place in the 2001 Holiday ball held in Las Vegas, Nevada and 1st place in 2001 International grand Ball in San Francisco.
