Edyta Sliwinska is a famous Polish professional ballroom dancer best known for her performance in reality television show "Dancing with the Stars".

She started learning dancing at the age of eleven.

Edyta moved to San Francisco in 2000 where she became dance partners with Alec Mazo. The pair won many competitions like Emerald Ball Latin Championships and the Holiday Ball in 2001.

She served as director and choreographer at Genesis DanceSport studios in San Francisco.

Edyta shot to fame with the ABC's reality television show "Dancing with the Stars" [98 episodes: 2005-2009].

Sliwinska performed in the debut season of the ABC reality show "Dancing with the Stars" in 2005, teaming up with boxing champ Evander Holyfield. The pair reached the fifth position of the competition.

She again placed fifth along with her dance partner George Hamilton in the second season of the show "Dancing with the Stars" in 2006.

In the third season of "Dancing with the Stars" [2006] Edyta Sliwinska was paired with was actor Joey Lawrence, and the couple were placed third.

Edyta Sliwinska was first coupled with Vincent Pastore for the fourth season of "Dancing with the Stars" in 2007 and later replaced with John Ratzenberger. They were the sixth couple to be eliminated from the competition.
